1 Corinthians 12

Image result for spiritual gifts

Tis the gift to be simple
'Tis the gift to be free
'Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be
And when we find ourselves in the place just right
It will be in the valley of love and delight
When true simplicity is gained
To bow and to bend, we will not be ashamed
To turn, turn, will be our delight
'Til by turning, turning, we come round right
In Ephesians 4:1, Paul urges us to “live in a manner worthy of the call you have received.” Once we can find that which is our gift in the Holy Spirit, we can receive it (appropriate) the answer to that need. There is a reason we were given the gifts. Someone is in need of our gift. Some people will see our gift and not appreciate it. But there is someone out there who’s day or life can be changed because of it. Do you know what yours is? Here is a quiz to try and find out. Let us know what yours is!
1 Corinthians 12:4-6 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; there are different forms of service but the same Lord; there are different working but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.
O: God has given people gifts to be used in their life. They are all different, but they all come from the one. It is up to the individual to figure out what gift they were given and how it is intended to be used.
A: We were all given gifts to work differently, just as all our own body parts work differently. But when working together, we can function as a whole. We are all parts of Christ’s body, as it mentions in verses 27-31.  We must use these gifts with one another to serve Christ and show his love.
My main gift is administration. Which makes sense. I do like to jump in and take charge when necessary, to help keep things organized. I am a co-leader of a moms study at my church as well as this one. I need to pray and learn how I can use administration for God
K: Lord thank you for my spiritual gifts as well as the physical, mental, emotional gifts you have given me. Show us the way to continue leading your war against darkness. Let us light the way for others to find you. Today I thank you also for modern medicine to help with the sniffles.

Lack of Friends

Moving is hard. If you never have, it’s not something to take lightly. I haven’t moved nearly as many times as some people, but I have lived...
