What are you Praying for? (1 Chronicles 14)

1 Chronicles 14:13 Once again the Philistines raided the valley, and again David inquired of God.

God set up David to be king. God made it so David was powerful. The enemy saw this and constantly tried to tear him down. But each time, David turned to God and GOD PROVIDED.

During this early time of David’s reign, he fully trusted in God. God provided because David asked for the right things. David prayed to God for things that were necessary. There are many times in our lives we pray and our prayers go unanswered. But what are we praying for? Are we praying correctly? God answers all prayers, but not always to what we think the answer should be. But His answers are usually better in the long run. We must continue to seek God and trust that his plans are the right ones. When he tells us to go around issues, we need to listen. He is protecting us from the evil hiding in the shadows.
