For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. James 1:3
Have you ever felt like things are going well for a period, and then WHAM! Your world seems to have turned sideways. There will be times where we get so comfortable with our life, we forget who have it to us. We forget where our blessings come from. They certainly didn’t pop out of thin air. And we didn’t give ourselves the gifts from which our blessings come.
If we do forget who is in control, it sometimes feel like we are actually shaken up in a snow globe. And as the pieces of snow settle, and we are seeing the err of our ways, our God is sitting there watching us. He isn’t watching to see how much faith we have, because he already knows. He is watching to see how we use that faith. Can we see past the Boulder in our path? Are we showing others how to continue to trust in God, even when we feel far from him?
We need to face these trials with patience and not discouragement. Our faith is precious, and should be very important to ourselves. Continue to praise God, and look at the trials with joy; God loves you so much and is trying to remind you amid all he has done for you.
