It is so easy to get discouraged when we see God working in someone else’s life, but don’t feel him working in our own. But we must remember that God has provided us many blessings i the past, and he will continue to do so. It is not always in the way we expect and the time we request it. His plans are bigger than ours, and are always better.
Changes in life are hard. Raising children, having to move and leave your best friend, elderly parents, new jobs, these are all chapters in our book that are easy to bring us into doubt, fear, dismay, and discouragement. But God is always next to us, guiding us through them. Give your fears to God and let him help you through the difficult portion you are going through. And remember to give gratitude for all the things you learn in your hard times as well as the joys in the good.
Dear Lord, thank you for the blessings you have given me. Thank you for the opportunity for my friend to fly from North Carolina to visit. You knew exactly what I needed when I did. You are amazing! Amen
