Genesis 48
Jacob is dying and he wants to bless Joseph's children. During the blessing, he tells Joseph his children shall be considered that of Jacob, then crosses his hand and gives the blessing to the younger one over the old one. Jacob himself had deceived his own father, taking his older brother's blessing. Maybe this was to repay that? I didn't fully understand the reason given by Jacob. Can anyone give light to this for me?
